Casualties for July 1918 (Including battle of Buzancy) -A

The War  Diaries for the month of July 1918 does not give the names of O.R. casualties after 8th July.  The details of those killed are taken from other sources. The following table provides the casualty numbers as recorded in the Diary. It will be noted that the numbers killed do not tally with those named on the following page, even if the missing are included as killed. Neither the table nor the Diary entries make mention of any men being killed on 27th.  It is interesting that three men suffered from self inflicted wounds (S.I.W) during the month - 2 unnamed on 27th and Cpl. Smith on the 12th.
