Casualties for June 1917
From the Battalion War Diaries
The Battalion started the month of June in billets at Arras. It then moved by stages to Moulle on the 10th, where it remained until 20th. From there it moved to the Poperinge area on 21st and went into the line on 22nd in the area around Lancashire Farm. The trenches were heavily bombarded during the period the battalion was in the area and most of the casualties occurred between the 23rd and 28th, when the battalion was relieved by the 1/7th Gordons.
