Pte Reid joined the Gordons in March of last year and was 27 years of age. He was a son of Mr Alexander Reid, East Kinknockie, Old Deer, and previous to joining the army was associated with his father in the management of the farm. |

Much sympathy is felt for his sorrowing relatives. |
