Buch Ob 18/9/17: Rosehearty: Mr John Wood, Mid Street, Rosehearty, has received information that his son, Corporal Wm Wood, Signal Company,  Gordon Highlanders, died in hospital in France on the 9th inst. from gunshot
wounds in the head. Corporal Wood, previous to the war, was a joiner
with Mr A. McKenzie.
