The reverse of this card says simply 'Wishing you a Happy New Year'. J. Mitchell. As was the case with most of these embroidered French Silk cards, it was send in an envelope and consequently lacks identifying details. J. Mitchell is James Mitchell who wrote the card from Bedford in December 1914.
